This plant holds tremendous wildlife value, as well as uses for edible landscaping, privacy hedges, windbreaks, etc. Growing to 20-30 ft in height, can be single or multi-stemmed. Tolerates wet environments, can be extremely useful for erosion control or stream bank stabilization. Fruit is edible, although small and best for jellies jams and the like.
