We run a small local business bringing affordable edible and ornamental plants to our community early each spring.
Most of our plants are sold bare-root. The sale is staffed by amazing volunteers, and we pay them in plants. Some come back every year, and we're always looking for new plant enthusiasts to join the fun. If you'd like to volunteer, send us an email.
The sale happens in Asheville, NC in late February or early March each year. We don't offer mail order. Your best bet is to pre-order and pre-pay on our website so you get what you want. You can also come to the general sale and buy whatever we have on hand. All pre-orders are picked up on the sale dates.
After Hurricane Helene
Our region badly needs streambank stabilization. We'll have bundles of live stakes at very affordable prices, for pre-order or at the general sale. If Helene badly damaged your property and you can't afford live stakes to stabilize it, please email us directly.
Big orders & growers
Need lots of plants to start an orchard? Looking for something we don't carry? Are you a wholesale grower who could supply us? Get in touch. We want to serve the community any way we can and will do our best with larger orders.
